Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how Econocraft Materials LLC ("Econocraft," "we") will refund fees paid for Autoprinter.

1. 14-Day Free Trial

Both the $10/month Workstation plan and the $29/month Unlimited plan include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial, and no charge is made during the trial period. Because no fee is collected during the trial, no refund is ever necessary for trial usage. If you decide Autoprinter is not a fit for your business, cancel from your Shopify admin before the trial ends and you will not be billed. To stop future billing on a paid plan, uninstall Autoprinter or cancel the active plan through your Shopify admin before the next billing cycle.

2. 14-Day Post-Charge Refund Window

For the first 14 days following a paid charge, we will issue a pro-rated refund for technical issues that Econocraft cannot resolve after a reasonable support effort. "Technical issues" means defects in the Service that materially prevent you from printing documents through Autoprinter as described in our published documentation. A "reasonable support effort" means that you provide the information needed to reproduce or diagnose the issue and allow Econocraft a commercially reasonable opportunity — not to exceed five United States business days unless you agree otherwise — to attempt a fix or workaround.

Pro-rated refunds are calculated based on the number of days remaining in the current billing cycle from the date of the refund request.

To request a refund under this Section, email garrett@econocraftmaterials.com (or support@autoprinter.app) within 14 days of the charge with:

  • your Shopify store domain;
  • the charge date and amount;
  • a description of the technical issue; and
  • any support correspondence or error messages.

We respond within five United States business days.

3. Refunds Outside the 14-Day Window

Refunds requested more than 14 days after the charge date are discretionary. We evaluate these requests case-by-case based on the facts presented. We are not obligated to issue a refund outside the 14-day post-charge window, but we do consider goodwill requests and respond in writing either way.

4. Chargebacks

Chargebacks filed with your card issuer or bank before contacting us bypass our internal resolution process and increase costs for both parties. We ask that you contact support first. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us at garrett@econocraftmaterials.com (or support@autoprinter.app), Econocraft reserves the right to:

  • dispute the chargeback with the card network and Shopify, providing relevant account and usage records as evidence;
  • suspend or terminate your access to the Service, revoke paired devices, cancel the subscription where Shopify permits, and require you to uninstall the app from your Shopify store; and
  • recover amounts owed, including chargeback fees, through lawful collection means.

Chargebacks that follow a good-faith support exchange are handled case-by-case and do not automatically trigger termination.

5. How Billing Works

All charges for Autoprinter are collected through the Shopify Billing API. Econocraft does not receive, store, or process payment-card details. Approved refunds, credits, or pending-charge removals are processed through Shopify's billing tools and will appear according to Shopify's billing rules; the exact mechanism (refund to payment method, account credit, or removal of a pending charge) depends on what Shopify Billing makes available for the specific charge.
